Brežice

The green world at the confluence of the Sava and Krka rivers, thermal springs, vineyards, and rich architectural heritage – Brežice is rightly called a place where different worlds meet. The natural features provide an excellent condition for winemaking, which has a century-old tradition here, including the famous wine cellars in Bizeljsko, offering a unique experience. The old part of the town, with the renovated Water Tower and the main street, is worth a visit and a walk to the mighty castle with a museum and the Knight’s Hall.
