Dobrepolje

The municipality of Dobrepolje lies in the area of two karst valleys: Dobrepoljska and Struška. The cultural and administrative centre is Udine, with a municipal administration, a cultural centre, a church and more. The municipality is rich in natural and cultural heritage: Podpeška Cave with proteus, baroque altars in the church of St. Florian in Ponikve, monuments of artists France and Tone King, attractive hiking trails. The winter is chased away by the colourful carnival characters from Ponikve and trick-or-treaters from Zagorica.
