Trebnje

The Municipality of Trebnje is located in the middle of the hills of the Lower Carniola Region. The popular sites include the Trebnje Gallery of Naïve Artists, the only collection of naïve art in Slovenia. Trebnje also invites visitors to see the 15th Meridian Marker, the Jurij Homestead and the memorial rooms of the missionary Friderik Irenej Baraga. You can cycle through the Municipality of Trebnje on five cycling routes, climb to Vrhtrebnje, walk the Baraga Trail, follow the Temenica River to the ponors and much more.
