Explore the underground city and the remains of Roman Celeia in situ in Celje, then treat yourself to a beer at the world’s first beer fountain. In Prebold, head out on the forest learning trail Marija Reka, while Komenda Castle in Polzela offers collections of the Knights of Malta and poet Neža Maurer. In Velenje, descend 160 metres underground and enjoy a miner’s snack in the coal mine, then continue to Šentjur to meet Slovenia’s most musical family and climb the Tower of Love on Žusem Hill.
