The city on seven hills – Novo mesto – awaits you from the Kapitelj viewing platform or from the nearby Trška Gora, scattered with vineyards and charming wine cellars. It would be a shame not to visit the “Source of Cviček” in Šmarjeta. In Trebnje, feed your inner artist at the unique Gallery of Naive Artists. By the Krka River in Žužemberk, a castle greets you, and later on a cast-iron fountain with four dragons. The former clay pits in Straža have become a haven for birds.
